SURF RESCUE & LIFESAVING COMPETITION EVENTS
Federation Française Sauvetage Sportif (FFSS) French National N1 Military Pool Competition
Montpellier 31st March-2nd April
Between 400 and 600 athletes will attend the National Open Age Military Pool Rescue event. There will be teams from France and other European countries competing.
FFSS French National N2- Masters Pool Competition
Tarbes 14th-16th April
This is the national open age including Masters pool rescue event with 400-500 competitors from France and other European countries.

St Malo French Rescue 27th-29th May
This is a 3 day beach surf rescue competition on the beach at beautiful St Malo in Brittany, France. It involves all-French rescue teams and many other European teams from Belgium, Spain, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, the UK and Portugal.
Flanders International Lifesaving Competition (FILCOW)
Oostend, Belgium 2nd July-3rd July 2023
An excellent international, mostly European competition with around 400 competitors on the beach at Oostend. Swimouest has participated in every year since 2019 and will be back in 2023.
European Lifesaving Championships
Blankenburg, Belgium 17th-30th September 2023
Around 2000 competitors come to participate in this full beach and pool programme of Interclubs from throughout all European nations (Juniors, Masters and Open Age). Full beach and pool programme of European National Teams (Juniors, Masters and Open Age).
WOULD YOU LIKE SWIMOUEST AT ONE OF YOUR SURF LIFESAVING CLUB EVENTS?
Swimouest will bring a Pop Up Boutique to your surf rescue, swim run, triathlon, water polo, pool rescue or swimming competition events in France, Belgium or the Netherlands. As a rule for this to be viable, there needs to be a minimum of 200 athletes competing. However, we can consider smaller events if they are within (how much?) of our base in Charente Maritime.
